Chris Kirk - Filmmaker

Chris Kirk is a British Filmmaker and documentary producer born in the early 1970s, inspired by classics like Disneys Bambi, Labyrinth wth the magic of Jim Henson, and Doctor Who. He began making sci-fi films in his teens and eventually became a professional VT Editor, working freelance for the BBC and co-founding special effects house, Genesis FX. His work spans from pioneering editing technologies to directing documentaries like Successful Searching. Recently, creating the Tracing the Rails documentary project with his wife, Lou Kirk-Partridge, and longtime friends Stephen Cranford and Mike Jaimes, to explore West Sussex’s railway history in a high-quality, TV Series.
